Eizo CG211 – Professional standard display for total colour accuracy
The ColorEdge CG211 is one of Eizo’s top professional monitors. With a
colour gamut larger than the standard sRGB achieved by most monitors in
this class, the 21” CG211 is an ideal choice for colour critical work.
The CG211 features with EIZO’s latest ASIC (Application Specific
Integrated Circuit) for brightness and colour uniformity from corner to
corner, displays enhanced shadow detail, and can be switched from
Landscape to Portrait format.
Colour Confidence rates the Eizo CG221 as the premium monitor for
colour critical work, and if price is not your main concern, we would
recommend considering this model first. However, the CG211 is still an
excellent option in this price range, and we have no hesitation in
awarding it a 5 Star rating.
ColorNavigator profiling software, specially developed by Eizo for
their CG range of monitors and featuring a range of special controls,
is included with the CG211, as is a monitor hood. A supported measuring
instrument in not included – the Eye-One Pro and Eye-One Display 2 are
both supported.
